Fissures – small, barely visible cracks, usually found in rock. Over time with applied stress, these cracks grow larger and larger. They grow so large that whatever once had small fissures eventually separates into pieces, changing its original shape, strength
and size. It is no longer the same, nor can it ever be again.
This is how I see not-yet-visible answered prayers: like large rocks with fissures. Faith-filled prayers, a steadfast stance, a peaceful trust in God, and a constant connection with life found in the Word of God, cause small cracks to occur and the rock of
unanswered prayers to weaken.
We can’t always see the small cracks, but they’re there. Every spirit-led prayer, every act of obedience, every pushing out of doubt with replacement with words of faith, applies more tension to the cracks and more breaking pressure. Then what isn’t
is replaced with what is and what is is THE WILL OF GOD.
Every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Every circumstance not lined up to God’s Word must bow down to accommodate His powerful plan for mankind.
Your prayer works. Your trust in God works. Peace-filled waiting on God works. The corporate prayers of the saints work. Fissures increase and God’s will is being done on the earth as it is in heaven. In this we can fully place our trust.
Revelation 5:8 NKJV
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and
golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Revelation 8:3 NKJV
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
Never discount your faithful obedience to God as applied to answers to prayer. He hears and sees your prayers; they are before Him. Trust God to fulfill His will on earth with you, faith-filled child of God.
