Growth. We like the idea of it, but are we truly ready to put in what we need to get out of it?
As I look back to my previous week, I can honestly say I was really challenged in a certain area. I seemed to be experiencing the same problem, in the same situation, only on different days. The issue was on repeat all week!
I know that in Jesus is my victory in all things, so I chose to do what victory does. I chose to pray about the situation instead of grumbling and complaining. I chose to walk in love instead of being angry and offended. I chose to repent of any bad attitudes
instead of owning and defending them. I chose to ask God about the situation and listen for His insight instead of assuming that I knew what was going on. IT WAS DIFFICULT, but I knew I had to make way for growth, whatever that would look like.
At the end of the week, I had victory over the situation. It didn’t look like victory on the outside, but it was victory indeed. The problem was and is still slowly being dealt with, only I’m not fighting the same fight. I have experienced grace and a release
of pressure to make it right again. By giving the issue to God and making my own heart adjustments where needed, I am peacefully experiencing growth. Therein lies my victory.
John 16:33 TPT
And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered
the world!”
