is the Greek word for salvation, meaning saved, healed and delivered, all at once. We are saved, healed and delivered
to God. Now, because we are in Jesus Christ, we have access to wholeness in every area of our lives. As we use the faith we’ve been given, we grow in the fullness of salvation.
Isaiah 53:4 NKJV
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
Matthew 8:17 NKJV
… “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
Our Old and New Testament verses say that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sickness. This is part of our salvation. My question is, “As sickness tries to come on my body, how can that sickness be in two places at once?”
One of them must be a trespassing lie. We know that the Word of God cannot lie because God cannot lie. Any sickness on my body must bow down to the authority of the Word of God. Sickness must then leave for the simple reason that since Jesus took my infirmities, they can’t also be with me. I believe Jesus; I don’t believe the lie of sickness, so sickness must go.
God provides access to divine health for His children. We are all on a journey of “salvation discovery” with Jesus. We’ve each been given a measure of faith from God, and we’re meant to use it with the help of the Holy Spirit. As the Body of Christ, we should be learning about salvation and its wholeness, growing in Christ every day.
We have much more to learn about what Jesus bought for us through His salvation gift. The more we follow Him, the more our faith grows. Revelation teaches us through relationship with God, and Jesus manifests His life in us through the Holy Spirit. Salvation is ours as the children of God. Let us not live in anything less than its fullness.
